▫ Former US President Donald Trump has developed a new app called ‘Truth Social’ in an attempt to compete with social media giants Facebook and Twitter.
▫ On Sunday, the new social media platform was introduced on the Apple App Store. The Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which created the ‘Truth Social,’ has stated that it will be “totally operational” by late March.
▫ Trump said in October 2021 that his Trump Media & Technology Group would develop a new social network after being banned from multiple social media networks, including Twitter and Facebook.
