Russia To Launch Its Own ‘Rossgram’ Photo Sharing App After Instagram Ban

▫ After Russia banned Instagram, Russian tech entrepreneurs will launch a photo-sharing app called ‘Rossgram’ in the domestic market.
▫ The app will release on March 28 and include crowdsourcing and paid content access features.
▫ Rossgram’s colour design and structure will be pretty similar to Instagram, according to a snapshot supplied by the developers.
▫ “My partner Kirill Filimonov and our group of developers were already ready for this turn of events and decided not to miss the opportunity to create a Russian analogue of a popular social network beloved by our compatriots,” Alexander Zobov, the initiative’s public relations director, wrote on the VKontakte social network.
