Michael Owen, a former England footballer, arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday to take part in a number of football-related initiatives and meet with high-ranking officials.
In a tweet, PTV Sports welcomed Owen to Islamabad, stating he will work with Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) to develop international football in the country.
Moreover, Owen will attend a dinner hosted by President Dr Arif Alvi, as well as a meeting with Army Chief Gen Qamar Bajwa, according to the state broadcaster. Owen will also meet Prime Minister Imran Khan, as per a press release issued by GSV.
