Russia Is Using Trained Military Dolphins To Protect Its Naval Base Against Underwater Attacks By Ukraine

Russia has deployed trained military dolphins to shield its Black Sea naval facility against underwater strikes during Ukraine’s invasion, according to satellite picture analysis.

Two dolphin enclosures were transported to the facility in February, at the outset of the military onslaught, according to images from the Sevastopol harbour analysed by the US Naval Institute.

The militaristic mammals may have been entrusted with counter-diver operations to prevent Ukrainian special-ops forces from accessing the port underwater to harm ships, according to the accusation.
