World’s Largest Cargo Plane Destroyed By The Russian Army

The Russian army destroyed the Antonov An-225 “Mriya,” the world’s largest aeroplane, during the combat at the Antonov Airfield near Kyiv, the Ukrainian authorities reported on Sunday. On an airstrip near Kyiv, Russian occupants destroyed the world’s largest plane, the “Mriya” (The Dream). The plane will be rebuilt. Our dream of a strong, free, and democratic Ukraine will come true. ⁠

According to a Facebook post made by Ukroboronprom, a maker of military weaponry and equipment for Ukraine, Mriya’s restoration is projected to cost more than $3 billion and take a long time.

At the time of the invasion, the aeroplane was being repaired at Antonov Airport, so there was no way to escape.
