Apple Watch Detects Australian Student’s Thyroid Condition Months Before Diagnosis

▫ An Australian nursing student claims that her Apple Watch detected her thyroid problem months before it was diagnosed.

▫ Lauren Rebecca reported feeling fatigued, nauseated, and gaining weight in October 2021 before being diagnosed with thyroid hemiagenesis in December. She didn’t see it earlier since her watch’s alerts were turned off.

▫ “If you have an Apple Watch, you have to make sure these notifications are turned on right now because I didn’t and I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition,” she added.
